01 - 06 March
A pair of blue tits spent days investigating a neighbours car wing mirror.
Repotted a amaryllis/ hippeastrum which has produced a flower bud.
Sowed first batch of broad beans and red onion seeds.

Visited Nostell
Tidied perennial beds
Cut the lawns
Cut back the ferns
Pruned some climbing roses
Removed netting over the pond and replaced with black string
Visited the allotment
Harvested parsnips and leeks
Some actual gardening

14 - 20 March
Sowed leek and sweet pea seeds
Cut back shrub roses and started strimming the allotment paths
Planted seed potatoes in pots
Potted on early brassica plants
Drying out

Almost back on track
21 - 31 March
Tidied greenhouse
Mulched and fertilised perennials
Blueberries flowering
Picked daffodils
Planted Casablanca in crates and two roows in the allotment
Hoed and fertilised onion and garlic
Tidied and fertilised strawberries
Cut back autumn raspberries
We had snow after a lovely summery week.
