01 - 09 July

Netted blueberries and raspberries
Dug first Casablanca and Winston potatoes

17 - 23 July

A very wet week so no reall gardening
Harvested first Pongo beans
Harvested first Sungold tomatoes
Visited Wentworth Castle
Is this really summer?

24 - 31 July

It’s been dull and wet again
Picked lots of beans
Lifted Winston and Casablanca potatoes
Lifted Longor shallots
Shook sweetcorn plants to help with pollination
Froze some chillies
Covered some beds to keep down weed growth
We’ve reached a turning point

    You have a great harvest, Sue. The labors of May-June were not in vain. Excellent berries. Ruby looks beautiful. Beautiful little swans grow up in the park.

    Weatherwise a strange month again, but at least you’re still able to harvest.
    Sadly, computer struggles with the moving pictures, but got there in the end.
