01 - 04 June
Visited Nostell – lots of wild flowers
Still six cygnets
Early potatoes flowering
Picked forst sweet Williams and sweet peas
Planted more climbing beans
Still dry so lots of watering
The plot thickens
05- 11 June
Visited Nostell
Six cygnets thriving
Woodlands are greening up
Cattle have moved in to one of the meadows
Planted red cabbages, courgettes, squash and dahlias.
No rain so lots of watering
Picked strawberries and pulled rhubarb
Picked sweet peas and sweet Williams
Planted up sarcoccoca cuttings
A case of deja vu
All planted up but..

12 -18 June
Lots of watering then at the end of the week we had rain
Lifted garlic and a few winter onions
Managed to do some weeding
Planted more cauliflowers and calabreses
Dug first potatoes
Harvested first turnips
Bought plants for the summer house
Vampires beware!
