The heatwave ruined our potato crop. Our worst harvest ever?

I harvested our Orla, Sagitta and Elfe potatoes. The crop was extremely disappointing and hardly worth digging up. I’m assuming the hot weather and a complete lack of rainfall in July are the cause of the crop failure.

At the allotment, it seems like autumn has arrived early. Beds need digging over, but it’s far too dry. Despite the drought, we still have produce to harvest.
