Barrington Court

Barrington Court, a NT property  in Somerset,  is  a Tudor manor house set in Gertrude Jekyll inspired gardens, which focus on plant varieties and colours. There is also a stone-walled kitchen garden that produces a variety of fruit and vegetables that supply their restaurant.

The photos and video below were taken during our visit in October 2013 and in spite of the season there was still plenty to see. The Michaelmas daisies were particularly beautiful.

We arrived around opening time and so had a head start over the crowds that arrived later and had a chance to enjoy the garden in relative peace for a while.
