Visited Kenilworth Castle
Visited Severn Valley Steam railway
Water allotment lots
Roses are lovely
Removed excess canes from tayberry
Planted Crown Prince squash
4 - 10 June
Roses are lovely
All runner and climbing French beans are planted
Planted green courgettes.
Planted the rest of the squash
Planted cauliflower, green and red cabbage and calabrese
Planted spare tomatoes outdoors
Planted sweetcorn
Thinned out parsnips.
Picked more strawberries including alpines
Mainly flowers including video
11 - 17 June
Visited Harlow Carr
Visited Brodsworth Hall and Gardens
Planted remaining brassicas
Planted leeks and they were battered flat by gales
Planted half hardy annuals
New lavender and strawberry plants arrived
Planted strawberries in planting bags
Picked first calabrese
It actually rained quite hard for a minute or two

Visited Kirkham Priory, Rievaulx Abbey and Helmsley Castle
Picked apricots
Netted blueberries
Cut first cabbage
All creatures small and some not so great
25 - 30 June
Visited Beningborough Hall and Gardens
Picked frst cherries from the garden
Picked first blueberries, jostaberries, tayberries, purple raspberries and black raspberries
Picked and froze all calabreses as it was starting to flower.
Picked frst cauliflower
Picked first Mini Munch cucumber
Started comfrey feed
Set up and planted gfrowing bags in cold frame with lettuce and radishes.
Picking sweet peas and dahias
Swan and cygnets
