Picking lots of berries and sweet peas.

Courgettes are starting to produce

Lots of cabbages ready and picking cauliflowers and some calabrese

Pulling peas

Buddleias are flowering and butterflies and bees are browsing

Dug first lot of Casablanca potatoes

Picked gooseberries

Visited Thirsk Falconery Centre

Visited Foxwood gala

Cleared first cauliflowers and cabbages

Pulled first carrots

Picked first climbing French beans and started pulling second sowing of peas

Made more piccalilli

Proof that watering has been worth it

It actually rained at the weekend

Second lot of peas finished

Sweetcorn has tassels and silks

Cut back basil and froze the clippings

Nectarine has scale insects
