Spent the afternoon at Harlow Carr
Bought 4 plans for the pebble gardens
Roscoea scillifolia f. atropurpurea, Bergeranthus Glenensis, Saxifraga Dr Ramsey and Penstemon Campanulatus Pulchellus
Planted new plants on pebble gardens
Potted coleus and sowed some salad seeds in raised bed in garden.
Dug first Orla potatoes
Biennial flower seeds have germinated
Picked more Malwina strawberries, (they are delicious), and raspberries
Buddleias starting to flower on the plot
Picked the first Mini Munch cucumber
Annual cutting patch starting to flower
Hostas being sprayed with slug repellent regularly
Campanula lacitifolia flowering
Picked first of the mangetouts.
Found that the wood pigeons hadn't had all the jostaberries
Courgettes are now producing.
Dug one row of Casablanca potatoes
Picked broad beans for freezing
Picked first sweet peas.
Sowed more peas in space left by lifted potatoes
Visited RHS Hyde Hall in Essex
Too hot to do much on the plot so a quick visit to water and harvest
Picked first blueberries
Martyn trimmed laurel and apple hedges.
Found a giant puffball growing in the plot
The climbing beans are flowering.
A harvesting visit to the plot - picked first peas for freezing
A quick plot visit to water the tomatoes but rain prevented any more activity other than picking a few raspberries for dinner.
Sowed more sweet William and winter spinach in modules.
Day out in North Yorkshire - Hutton le Hole and Dalby Forest
Picked first Japanese wineberries and runner beans
