One of our orchids is shooting again

Ferns still in leaf and some passion flower leaves just turning

Miniature daffodil - Minnow - in the pebble garden

Some crocuses are producing buds but the snowdrops are no further on than I would expect.

Fungus is growing on some old slices of tree trunk used as stepping stones in the border

The summer onions are beginning to rot in storage. It was damp when they were lifted and has been damp most of the time since.

Cut back the spreading perennials on the front garden bed to let the bulbs through.
I felt that I had little choice

Visited the plot and harvested, carrots, leeks, parsnips, beetroot and Brussels sprouts.

Visit to the garden centre and we bought two African violets, a bowl of hyacinths and a pot each of iris reticulata, Joyce, iris reticulata J S Dijt, iris reticulata unnamed varietyand Ipheion uniflorum Wisley Blue.

The moss is enjoying all the rain

Cut old leaves off hellebores as they were covering the snowdrops.
There are lots of self sown hellebore seedlings.

First mini daffodil tête à tête flowering

Bought a hellebore Spring Promise and two saxifragas
Alpino Early Lime and Alpino Early White.

Where is the pot of gold?

Bought another pot of hyacinths for the bathroom and some potatoes to try, 5 tubers each of Amour, Setanta, Vivaldi, Blue Belle, Orla and Valor
