RSPB: St Aidans Nature Park

St Aidan’s is a new nature park is managed by the RSPB on behalf of Leeds City Council

 

For many years it was the site of an opencast mine. The land has now been reclaimed and a nature park has been created in its place. There are four trails. Habitats include woodland reed beds, lakes and ponds.
