A cool cloudy afternoon when we visited the plot to get some tidying up done.

Sue tidied up under the greengage trees removing all the weeds that were growing in the wood chippings.

My plan was to cut back the laurel hedge that was planted long ago as a wind break.

It’s just about visible in the photo above. It was out of control and could no longer be cut back with the hedge trimmers.

It was cut back with my chainsaw. Hopefully, when it regrows I’ll be able to keep it trimmed to a more reasonable size.
