We harvested our winter squashes back in late September last year. We normally keep them in the summerhouse over winter, protecting them with some fleece if any really cold frosty nights are forecast. Last year we harvested two varieties of squash Crown Prince and Pink Banana. Watch the video to see which one stored the best over winter.

By the end of February, I like to move our seed potatoes from the summerhouse to the greenhouse and start them chitting. Hopefully, they will have formed some good strong shoots ready for planting in April.
