All our seed potatoes had been stored in the summerhouse since we bought them from the local garden centre in the middle of January. I usually move them into the greenhouse and set the individual seed potatoes out in seed trays to chit once all the cold weather is out of the way.

However, just in case we get any cold and frosty nights all the potatoes were covered with a layer of fleece for extra protection.

Our pots of over wintering bulbs were dug up from the garden and planted out in the bird bath bed.
