Li8fted lots of potatoes
Picked Oullins gage plums
Lots of watering mainly peas, squash and parsnips
Tidied leeks and onions

Tidied and removed runners from young strawberry plants

Very warm week and so allotment visits were made in the morning. and evening

Also went to Nostell in the morning

Lots of harvesting
Dug up most of the potatoes,
Lifted some of the onion
Harvested seed from Kent Blue mangetout and Ne Plus Ultra peas

22 - 31 August
Picked and froze more tomatoes and peppers;
Tidied brassicas and leeks
Lifted last bed of onions including and onions
Visited Wentworth castle gardens
Picked first bed of sweet corn and froze it
Something new
A hot and dry August
You look to have had a good harvest despite the trying conditions this year. That tomato is a whopper.
