01 - 14 February

Ruby was spayed so was on constant surveillance for a fortnight.
We had snow showers, temperatures below freeing and a biting wind.
No gardening activity
We all had our first Covid vaccinations.

15 - 21 February

Weather improved so we visited Nostell Priory
Ruby had her stitches removed
Snowdrops , crocuses and dwarf tulips are flowering
Lovely Sarcococca perfume
Replanted pots of tete a tete daffodils in the bird bath bed
Visited the allotment
Pruned a shrub rose and a couple of buddleia
Harvested parsnips. leeks and sprouts.

22- 28 February

Visited Nostell Priory twice – Firstly to visit the garden and secondly to take Ruby for a walk
Spent two afternoons at the allotment
Strimmed the grass
Pruned the roses
Started tidying the strawberry bed
Cut back the buddleias
tidied and replanted some of the chive bed
Cleared ad tidied some beds
