Visited plot to harvest some vegetables and also pruned the tayberry and gave fruit trees a winter wash.

After what seems to be a long absence we had a goldfinch on the feeders today. More cutting back of perennials to reveal spring bulbs.

Bought a miniature rose pot plant at a local nursery. Bulbs beginning to open in the front garden.

One of our orchids is flowering again after a few months rest

Visit to RHS Harlow Carr - very soggy. It looked as though the stream bank had collapsed.
