Friday was another cold, dull day so I didn't expect any visits to bird box cam.
I was wrong though, as I think this blue tit had a very quick look around inside
without actually going into the nest box.
So our first prospective resident has had a look around on day two. I suppose that's not too bad. I just need to keep an eye out for any others.
There was little action to report from nest box cam. Just an inquisitive peep inside around lunch time. I reckon they were all too busy finding food in the snow
After lots of quick peeps through the entrance hole one blue tit thought that a more thorough inspection was required.
He or she really had a good look around in all directions even checking out the view from the entrance. Maybe he or she was trying to work out whether the flight path to the box was suitable or maybe he/she was trying to spot its mate to suggest a joint viewing!
Just hope that our visitor was suitably impressed.

Disappointment was starting to set in after no viewings on Friday and Saturday. Perhaps there was better accommodation to be found elsewhere.
Sunday however at least saw a blue tit peek in, perhaps just checking the box was still open to offers.
I’m not sure who this is peeking inside, probably a blue tit or great tit.
