I’ve noticed that the Met Office has posted temperature charts for the UK showing exceptionally high temperatures for mid-November.<\/p>

I must say giving the image a casual glance, it looks like the whole of the UK was basking in these temperatures on Remembrance Sunday. However, that certainly wasn’t the case here. In case you can’t make out the temperature for Ossett which I’ve added to the image it was 13.6\u00b0C or 56.5\u00b0F. It wasn’t a sunny day either as it remained dull and misty all day.\u00a0<\/p>

As you can see from the trace for Sunday, the temperature throughout the day hovered around the 10\u00b0C (50\u00b0F) mark with the day’s highest value occurring around midnight.<\/p>

Monday continued in much the same way with misty conditions prevailing all day. We took Ruby for a walk in Rothwell park. It was like walking in very gentle rain even though it wasn’t actually raining.<\/p>

The weather had been better earlier in the week. On Thursday we had a walk around Nostell Priory with Ruby. Ruby loves watching the squirrels. She’s inquisitive and slowly approaches the squirrel and then looks at us in amazement as the squirrel disappears up a tree.<\/p>
