We&#8217;d been wondering where our food dish had disappeared to, and now we have the answer. Our local fox decided that the heavy ceramic dog bowl was worth carrying off! But why do foxes steal food dishes?<\/p><p>We look at some of the possible reasons, including food caching, curiosity and play. We&#8217;ve now replaced the ceramic bowl with a plastic one secured into the lawn with a large metal pin. Hopefully, that will keep our visitor from making another getaway! Unfortunately, the original dish is still missing.<\/p><p>Perhaps we&#8217;ll discover its whereabouts on another trail camera recording!
