Ideally, they should have been planted out a week ago but I delayed planting due to hot weather and lack of rain. Some peas also received pea sticks for support, while others received an environmesh cover to protect them from wood pigeons. If all our plums ripen, we will have a good harvest this year. The weight of plums on one branch was too heavy and the branch broke.
