The overnight temperature fell to -1.3\u00b0C (29.7\u00b0F) in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The weather has continued dry with no rain to speak of since the middle of March. The onion and shallot sets planted a week or so ago probably need a drink but I don\u2019t particularly like watering if there\u2019s a &nbsp;chance of overnight frosts. The forecast is for a couple of cold nights before the temperature warms up a little bit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/ossettweather.com\/gardening2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/IMG_0948-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-364\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ossettweather.com\/gardening2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/IMG_0948-1.jpg 640w, https:\/\/ossettweather.com\/gardening2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/IMG_0948-1-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019ll have to start thinking about sowing some tomato seeds along with a few other vegetable seeds which require sowing now we\u2019re into the middle of April.<br>Opinion at the moment is that the lockdown will continue for another three weeks at least.
