Stamen are the male parts of the flower. The stamen is the part of the flower which makes the pollen.
Pollen is like a fine dust, it is often bright yellow but not always.
The stamen is made up of two parts.
The thin stalk is called the filament and the thicker part at the top is the anther. The anther is where the pollen is produced.
