If the seedlings have been planted in trays they will need to be pricked out.

Pricking out means that you must move the small seedlings into pots or trays to give them more room to grow.

It is better to prick out the seedlings before they grow too large.

When the seed leaves are fully open and the first true leaves are just beginning to grow is a good time.
