NT: Dunster Castle

Dunster Castle is sited on a wooded hill on the edge of Exmoor National Park close to Minehead.

From walks around the castle grounds there are spectacular views toward the Bristol channel, the Quantock hills and up to the moors of Exmoor.

There are wooded riverside walks and tropical gardens to enjoy. The photos below were taken during our visit at the beginning of October 2013 when there was still plenty to see and enjoy.

Dunster Castle is a National Trust property and is one of the few to welcome dogs into all outside areas and the shop.
