Re-planting Iris

As part of our ongoing plan for the refurbishment of our perennial flower bed at the allotment we dug up and replanted some Iris tubers. It was extremely difficult to extract all the weed from the tubers without causing any damage to the tubers. They were replanted immediately in fresh soil from the compost heap.
