Cane and vine fruit on our plot
We grow a wide variety of cane and vine fruit on our allotment. In 2017 we planted a new black raspberry which at the tome of writing - February 2018 - has not yet fruited.
Unfortunately 2017 saw the demise of our Japanese wineberry. It could have been a lack of water as we had a very dry season, for some reason the leaves just shrivelled and died,
We also have a pair of kiwis, a male and a female but so far the male has been reluctant to flower and consequently we the female has not produced ant fruit.
As well as a productive vine in our garden greenhouse we have two vies growing outdoors on the plot, They have both fruited but so far the grapes haven't fully ripened or grown to a usable size.
