cauliflower 4

When the young cauliflower plant has grown 5 or 6 true leaves it needs to be planted out into its final position. The plants need to be between 60 cm and 75 cm apart. The plant needs to be planted so that the lowest leaves just sit above the soil.

Cauliflowers need deep, rich, firm soil if they are to grow well.
