Some amazing effects can be used by manipulating a photograph in an image manipulation
package. The designs achievable depend very much on the package used and I often
switch between three different applications to achieve the affects that I am looking
for. As images appear on the screen it can cause excitement in adults and children
alike.
The leaf of the left was photographed but the one on the right was scanned - the
two methods create a different effect. You can also alter the settings on your scanner
to obtain other effects.
